nice work!!!
when you do a digital rough like that do you transfer it to your drawing board somehow or are you just looking at it and drawing it on the new surface? i noticed gabe swarr does his roughs a similar way.
just curious! glad to see you doing some more paintings!
Dang...I envy your painting skills, dude.
You make the bridge between digital and traditional look so easy.
Awesome!!
Nice!
WOW, I MISS SEEING THIS STUFF FROM YOU, GREAT JOB, SLICK AS ALWAYS...
This is freakin rad dude!!
smo- yeah... i draw everything in flash & size it to my canvas/board. then i print out the image (sometimes it has to be on a few sheets of paper if the canvas is big & then i tape them all together & line them up)
then i flip the paper over & scribble graphite all over the back. i tape the image down so the graphite side touches the canva. then i trace all the lines in the print... it's kind of like a carbon copy. justin s. suggested i try this a few years back & i've been doing it this way ever since. this way i can work out all my mistakes in the computer before i break out the paints.
steve- thanx man
