Where are the skulls from in Paris?
That pic is from the catacombs. I took a lot of pictures down there, maybe I'll post a few more. The walls are lined with bones & skulls. The bones of 6 million people down there. You go down this spiral staircase under the city. Apparently the catacombs follow the same paths as the streets above. I felt like Indiana Jones down there. Maybe I will post those pics.
great photos! Looks like a fun trip. I've only scratched the surface of europe myself.
Y'ever see that animated short by Jan Svankmeyer, where he pays a visual tribute to those catacombs? It's pretty spooky, but cool.
You remind me that it's time for a little trip of my own!
